A Guide to Klaviyo Integration in Roster

Streamlining your ambassador program management is a snap with the integration of Klaviyo and Roster. In this guide, we'll walk you through the simple process of setting up a Klaviyo API key and establishing a seamless connection between the two platforms.

Creating a Private API Key in Klaviyo

  1. Log into your Klaviyo account.

  2. Navigate to Account Settings > API Keys.

  3. Create a new Private API Key and select Full Access Key.

  4. Copy the new key to your clipboard.

Connect your Roster and Klaviyo Accounts

  1. Log into your Roster account.

  2. Navigate to Integrations > Klaviyo.

  3. Click on Connect and paste in your the private API key from Klaviyo.

Once connected, Roster will automatically sync your Roster program contacts to Klaviyo, where they will appear as profiles.

View Profiles in Klaviyo

  1. Log into your Klaviyo account.

  2. Navigate to Audiences > Lists & Segments.

  3. Click Create New Segment

  4. Give your segment a name (e.g. Brand Ambassadors)

  5. In the Dimension field, select "Program Key - Roster"

  6. In the value field, enter your program's key. How to find your program's key

  7. You should see something at the top indicate how many profiles Klaviyo found with this dimension.

  8. Click Create segment to save the segment.
