Introduction: Embedding an application form on your website can streamline your recruitment processes and enhance user experience. This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough for integrating an application form into your web page. While we'll use Shopify as an example, the process is quite similar for other eCommerce and CMS platforms.

Step 1: Design Your Web Page

Begin by creating a new web page on your website where you intend to embed the application form. For the purpose of this guide, let's assume you're establishing an "Ambassador Program" and will use the application form to attract potential brand ambassadors.

Step 2: Obtain the Embed Code

Go to the programs edit mode: Programs > Edit

Access your application form within the Program Settings and copy the provided embed code.

NOTE: There are two places you can do this. See Images below:

The first place is from the main section of the Program Settings.

The second place is within the edit window of the application form.

Step 3: Integrate the Embed Code

  • Open your web page editor and navigate to the page where you wish to embed the application form.

  • Switch to HTML editing mode within your editor. This mode allows you to directly manipulate the HTML code of your page.

  • Identify the appropriate location on your web page where you want the application form to appear.

  • Paste the copied embed code into this location. The code will act as a bridge between your website and the application form.

  • Once the embed code is pasted, switch back to the rich editor mode. This mode allows you to easily add more context and information about the program for which your prospects are applying.

Pro Tips:

  • Preview Your Changes: Before making your web page live, use the preview function to ensure that the application form appears correctly and functions as intended.

  • Test Responsiveness: Verify that the embedded form is responsive across different devices and screen sizes. This ensures that users can seamlessly access and complete the application from any device.

  • Customize Appearance: While the form's appearance is generally defined by the platform's settings, some customization might be possible using CSS. Consult your platform's documentation for more details.

  • Security Considerations: If your application form collects sensitive data, ensure that your platform and the form itself are adequately secured to protect user information.

  • Regular Maintenance: Periodically review your application form to ensure it's working smoothly and reflects any changes in your recruitment process.

Conclusion:

Embedding an application form into your website can significantly enhance your recruitment efforts. By following the steps above and customizing the process to your specific needs, you can seamlessly integrate the form and provide an excellent user experience for prospective applicants. Remember that while this guide highlights Shopify, similar steps apply to other eCommerce and CMS platforms.
